If you have decent traffic, every type of site is beneficial. Most affiliate marketers frown upon the blogging world because they are not familiar with the promotion techniques effective in the branch. Or at least I think so.

Affiliating with a blog can only be successful if your readers trust you. Just be certain that you don't make it look like you're selling it. Simply write down your experience while affiliating. What benefits have you received? What makes your products sell easier? How much did you get last month?

It might not get you potential buyers, as those surfing blogs are much less inclined to ever buy anything, but it might get you some sub-affiliates. And that's good, no?

I don't have my own blog, nothing interesting to say yet :) Am subscribed to a good few affiliate blogs, love reading them and learning from there experiences. A nice list of the good UK ones can be found here internetmarketingblogs.co.uk (not my site)
