Blogging Etiquettes/Netiquettes

    Hello DPers,

    I'm a new blogger and would like to know the do's and don't of blogging specially with copying someone's article..ofcourse credit will go to writer. Im not reallly sure when will google consider it a duplicate content and how much "excerpt" you can copy..

    Any hand? :)

    Is not a good idea, if you found something you liked, it is best to write your own introduction or review of the article or in fact lead into it as a separate blog post or use it as a newsletter article broadcast, only the new internet bloggers and webmasters decide to use other peoples content, but it is quite useless for the content filters to ignore your website and not rank it.:p

    yes duplicate content can be noticed from google , and your blog can be banned as a result, you really should write unique and good content , so you get more traffic and then a good PR

    Copy content if you are more than willing to risk your online reputation. I would only suggest that everyone, in every undertaking, should, at least, uphold basic social values such as respect and dignity. :)
