Hello hello DP'ers

Right, it's finally time to do this. My baby is up for sale Let's start with the basics...


The Domain
The domain is TEENIUS.COM (link in my sig).
As you can see it's a very brandable domain; short and .com. It's registered at name.com and has just been renewed, so it doesn't expire until 16th March 2011.
The domain has a Google Pagerank 3 and ranks well in search engines for a variety of terms.

The Design
As you can see, there's an awesome design. This is NOT Thesis and IS fully custom. I spent a lot of money on this design and it's done great; I'm constantly receiving emails asking where I got it and how much.
As well as this, there is a custom mascot. I've built a good brand around this mascot so lots of other bloggers recognise it.

The Articles
There have been 108 unique articles on the site. All of these are fully unique to the site and are ranked in the search engines. (almost 85,000 words)
As well as this, there is a constant demand to guest post on Teenius, so a lot of the time you don't even have to put much effort in. In January practically all of the posts were guest posts.

The site gets over 30 comments per post on average, which as you'll appreciate is an awesome figure.

Traffic
The site gets over 215 visits/day at the moment. However, when you post often (I haven't been recently) it's easy to hit 300 visits/day without promoting the posts at all.
Most the traffic is direct hits, but I also get a reasonable amount from search engines and other sites linking to me.

Revenue
As you can see, I haven't monetised much, but the site still produces some revenue.
I don't track it especially, but here's some quick stats:
Hostgator affiliate sale - $50. I've only ever used the Hostgator affiliate link 3 or 4 times and I got a sale. This goes to show how much you could make if you used the link more.
ThemeForest - $12. I did a post '34 Amazing Premium Wordpress Themes' which was posted a while ago. It listed all different themes and I made 2 sales from it. As you can imagine, if you did these sort of posts regularly you could make a LOT.
Paid Reviews - $10. This was from a while ago. I sold paid reviews on here and people were queuing up at $10 (when the site was PR2). Obviously now the site has more traffic and is PR3, I reckon you could EASILY get $15-20 per review.
Link Sales - $15. Once again on DP, I easily sold 2 link spots; $15 for 2 spots for a month.
Thesis - $28. I put up the sidebar banner for a few weeks and made a sale. Good times eh?
Private Ad Sales. I haven't really done this, but I had 2 interested people for 125 banners at $20/month. Obviously if you push it you could find more customers, but there's good potential to make $80/month from 125 banners alone I would say.

Like I said before, I've never really monetised the site too much. I posted 1 thread about reviews and made a sale; 1 thread about link sales and made a sale. The Hostgator affiliate link had been used less than 3 times on the site and still made a sale. Do the maths; if you monetise properly you could earn a LOT from this site.

The Twitter
I would include the Twitter account in the sale. There are over 1,700 followers and the account is included in 37 lists. http://twitter.com/teenius is the account.

Should also be noted that there are 132 subscribers at the time of this post, and it's almost a year old.

Why I'm Selling
I feel it's important to say WHY I'm selling, so here we go:
1) I need the money. I need it partly to fund a new project, and partly to buy new clothes
2) I need the time. I'm now at college where I actually need to work and also put time in to this other project.
3) I don't have the passion anymore. I used to really enjoy updating the site but my blogging 'spark' has gone. It seems a shame to just let this site die.

Price
I've tried to sell this before and agreed a price, so I know how much this COULD sell for.

I'm going to put it up at $650 including fees.

Payment can be made through Escrow or Paypal (but only PP if you have good itrader).

I know this may sound a lot, but remember these key things:
- Ready made brand.
- Already traffic/revenue
- BIG scope for big revenue
- Completely unique design/logo
- Established blog
- Popular niche
