Honestly I don't like it when blogs (for example Mashable, Engadget, etc) update all day every day, because there's just no way to read every post and there's too many to look through, so I always end up just reading the first 1-3, whatever's at the top when I decide to look at it. What do ya'll think? Right now I'm in the 3-4 posts a day range and I think it works best.
Are you posting 3-4 Posts in 1 blog or 1 post on 3-4 Blogs?? I think 1 post on 1 blog and max 3-4 Blogs updated is Little Bit hard.
They have frequent updates but if one needs their information or news of just one type of category, you are free to subscribe to just that category. With this, you will cut down the number of updates that you have when you wake up everyday and check your feed reader.
Thats some prolific posting for sure, i think your readers will appreciate it, unless your writing for the sake of it though. If all the posts are good and you can manage 3-4 i say why not. Depends what niche your in, technology of course being fast moving for example, you want to get the news out before most other people.
Yeah, it all depends on the blogs niche. But I don't even update everyday and it's been working out great for me.
My niche is music and someday's there are many updated, press releases, tour schedules, etc...and others...nothing. I keep it to one a day, since many times I get them in advance, that way I am still timely, but not overwhelming so that none of the posts go missed. If people are reading you to get the skinny, then they will be O.K if you don't post 3 times a day...probably appreciate it, as long as you are not 3 days late on something with an expiration date on it.
