Good luck on your quest. I will keep tabs on you. Just please don't work on it for like a week and then quit. I hate when that happens. And stay away from barnes and nobles...they charge 4 bucks for 2 hours to use wireless internet.

Must tell you, it's definitely NOT an easy ride. And for $10k a month? Well it's good that you aim at the moon, so that even if you fall you'll land among the stars, right, but uh.. $10k a month?? Might take years, bro...

Thats exactly how I feel. I know it will take time and and a ton of effort, but having the blog up to keep track of where I'm at and getting feedback from readers will keep me going. I love hearing from ppl and getting feedback, thats just as much of a reward as the money.

I'm in the fortunate position to be able to document the same thing through the history of my main blog. I'm documenting it all over at Self Made Minds, which will include a full history with stats and stuff of how a blog went from $0 a month to over $10K. I think this is impossible;assuming a 5% ctr and 0.5 dolars per click the you need. hm...400.000 visitors per month.
so do you think there are 400 000 people in the world who are interested in your blog?
ps: 5% and 0.5 dolar per click is quite high.

a blog is no different from any other venture, it requires dedication, planning, patience, etc.

 

Ive just started from the bottom up too =) was only aiming for more like 1k monthly, I will be sure to follow your progress

I just made my first goal, that means I'm 1/11th of the way to $10k a month. I'm broke down my huge goal of $10k a month in to smaller steps that will keep me going.
