I am starting a blog as part of a campaign to promote a website. I am hoping to gain some points for search engines with link backs as well as generate some traffic by making the blog relevant to the service. Lets assume My service is: Find Office Space Should I use Blogger? WordPress? Others? Should I use the defalut free subdomain? site-name.wordpress.com, or should i buy a domain? Should I host off the blog servers, or should i run my own install? Any other advice that would help me maximize my SEO with this blog? Thanks for the Help
If you don't want to have adsense or other ads on the blog than use wordpress sub domain. You might want to check out webs.com
Why don't you start a blog using WP on your website itself which you want to promote, something like yoursite.com/blog ? Its better option IMO. DON.
Would suggest wordpress and your own hosting package. I use Vidahost for hosting and their tech support is amazing!
