Trying to make $100 a day blogging. tracking my progress with:

    http://dollars100.blogspot.com

Is this possible? I'm making $20 or so a day at the moment, I envisage around 100 blogs total making an average of a $1 a day... obviously some do better than others etc

    Hi,

This seems like a very good idea, the main thing is getting lots of targeted visitors to your blogs.

I'd make like 200 hundred blogs and link each of them to each other on topics that are super popular.

    Take Care,

    Trevor

Wow, too many blogs! How do you deal with the new content? 1 article on each blog per week or something?

    Actully,

I have a macro program that I have set up to log into each blog and post a new article everyday. I set it to post at specific times. That's how I do it.

LOL, now I am spilling my secrets out

But the $64K question asked was regarding how you get traffic to the blogs.
The guy who started the thread has a few links in his blogroll, and goes on to talk about SERPS- which ain't gonna happen anytime soon, BTW.
They look to be brand new blogs.

Nowadays you can simply send emails off to your blogs for content, and the chron jobs are no secret weapons either.

Every MFA guru in the world is doing all of the above.

I'm thinking the traffic is being obtained from social bookmarking sites and forum postings, sig lines...whatever.
    A full-time job for peanuts.

I get my traffic from a number of sources, other blogs, Search engine traffic, yahoo groups, forums, ect

but it's not for peanuts, I make about $2 - $3 per blog each and every day now multiply that by 200 blogs :)

Plus I own a web hosting company that I get alot of traffic from as well.

Are you using free blogs like blogspot or wordpress because hosting 100 or 200 blogs on seperate accounts would run you over a grand a month. If you are using a dedicated server then you might save money but all your blogs would be on the same IP or a few IP's which is bad when interlinking your sites.

Nice, not bad... do you ever worry about duplicate content checkers and stuff like that?

Thought that they'd weed out a lot of this type of blog content.

If you could manage it, then it would be good. However, I would be careful using any automated posting software due to the fact that Google may well take a dim view of it ... if not today, maybe one day soon.

If you were able to maintain several high quality blogs and updated at least once a week, it would be great (especially if they were all topics you had interest in) - then it wouldn't seem like work.

If they were blogs that didn't interest you, but you simply were aiming to monetize through adsense, then it would be work rather than enjoyment.

Some people make a couple thousand a month on one blog. I would have a couple blogs and focus on making them popular. Higher likelihood of reaching your goal that way.

google is banning blogspot sites as fast as you close your eyes when the bot detect duplicate content....

I tried to create 100 blog last month only, put free to republish articles on them in just 2 days all of them were index by google but on the 4th day all were remove from google index page.

This is correct. Google will ban for duplicate content. Now if you want to be really clever you could use a macro to post content and create some sort of thesaurus feature that replaced words here and there with their synonymns.
