I have been very frustrated over the years trying to figure out exactly where a site of mine should be submitted to any directory. That has been even more difficult with a blog. If you have felt my pain, here is your chance to have some input for an all new all Blogger directory. All the standard categories just don't seem to fit. I would like to have 8-20 top level categories and as many 2sd level subs as needed to create a defined niche for everyone. Third level categories are an option but I am not sure it is really needed. I will defer to your opinions. The currently installed list starts off with the so common Arts & Humanities. Four hundred and seventy-two categories; and where do I post!! I would like some help thinking "outside the box". Those who choose to help will receive free lifetime links. Those who help a lot will receive free lifetime featured links. I am open to suggestions on defining “helps†and “helps a lotâ€. Just so there will never be a misunderstanding lifetime is defined as the life of the site, my ownership of it or my physical life. I am not planning on any of those things ending in the foreseeable future. I only point it out because of a couple of really negative threads that are currently here at DP. I value my reputation enough that I want to be really clear about this. If I should sell the site, I will include it in the terms of sale that those permanent link obligations be honored. I won't have any way to enforce that after the sale. I will install a password protected forum where we can discuss this so we don't waste BW here on DP. That Forum will be deleted at the end of the project. If you are interested, let me know. I am thinking no more than 10-15 people for this project. For now I guess interested and general questions here in this thread would be best.
