Hey, guys, I figured I'd throw this question to my DP fellas first before scouring the net on my own. Does anyone know of any place to find bloggers-for-hire? Maybe a hub somewhere where bloggers post their resumes, etc? I'm looking to start new sites that I need content writers for. Basically, let me know your experiences with hiring freelance bloggers from various places, what to look out for, etc. I want your input. Thanks.
I hired Michael Kwan once, and he was good. His freelance website is at www.michaelkwan.com and his blog at www.btr.michaelkwan.com
Well, while hiring a blogger or any other professional, do look for professionalism, i.e. have a glance of his previous work, and do ask him about his future strategies. Ask him questions that you think are related to your project and analyze if his work meets your requirements. In order to verify the answers have a look at his own blog (if he maintains any) or the blogpost he's entitled to work on. Professionalism can also be checked by giving the person a short assignment. Regards,
There are quite a few writers who hang out around here very experienced in blog writing. Many of us run our own. You can try the Content Creation section, but you'd have better luck looking in the Copywriting section. (The serious writers hang out in there.) Most link to their blogs in their signature, and many are willing to take on additional blog projects. I know there is a good site, too, but I can't think of what it is right now. Jenn might know...
