Blogger with Adsense - Any Good these Days?

Is Google's Blogger any good for Adsense these days? I tried this out with 1 Blogger blog a couple of years back, fed it with about 2 to 3 articles per week, pinged and social bookmarked it both manually and using a software by Incasoft, Onlywire, plus Social Monkee's free (but limited) service. A good number of posts managed to peak to 3rd spot, and even had days when up to 6 of the top 10 were mine. Had very nice views/clicks stats too. It was sort of experimental though, so nothing big really came out as I was then more focused on my writing. My observation was that the blog stops ranking every time I left it alone, but easily gets back to the top spots once I spent just a few days to a week doing my usual simple "feeding" routine on it. The last time I got a post to top 3 was about almost a year ago. I was wondering if this is still the case these days. I really can't get my hands on it right now as my writing/editing is currently in full swing. But I just might get on with resuming work on the blog and creating and nurturing more in the same manner if my usual routine would still work. Hope to see your thoughts shared here. :)

I have seen bloggers were accepted easily in Adsense few years before but now this is not so, your blog should have quality to get approval from Adsense.

It depends how strong (trusted) your blogger subdomain is. As you were writing a lot before, if you'll come back to regular posting then there's a chance your posts reaching top 3 again. As far as adsense at blogger is concerned one major disadvantage is ads default placement. It requires to modify adsense code a little to put it inside every blog post manually.

Yes, Blogger is working good in Adsense if the content is genuine (high CPC of course) and have decent traffic. I have a blogger based blog and getting decent payment from Adsense.

About loosing ranks: I too noticed it when I am lazy to update my blog, Google too starts giving less importance to my blog. So bloggers should always update their blogs with fresh content.

I used Blogger with Adsense, the approval process was simple and easy, I never got much money though
