I use and love both ;)

Why not - of course you will not want to copy and paste from one blog to the other.

You will want fresh content on both places,

You can also link each blog, so visitors with similar interests can visit both :)

I know this is from 2009 but incase anyone else decides to read. I highly suggest Blogger, I tried to set up a page on WordPress and was completely overwhelmed. I am not tech savvy at all so if you are just starting out I say blogger.

That depends: are you looking to start a blog for business or for personal fun? Do you eventually intend to monetize your blog?
If you just want a personal blog then blogger will do just fine. However, if you want some control over your blog, then go with wordpress. The main difference is: with blogger, you don't own your blog, google does. With wordpress, you can install it on a webspace and have full control on everything, from the looks to the functionalities.

If you're thinking of monetizing your blog at some point, start with wordpress right away. Otherwise it will really be a hassle to move all your content from one platform to another whenever you need to.

    Best,
    John
