I use blogger. I's very easy complying to AdSense ad for making money. It's indexing simply as well due to it live in the house with Google browser.

I say Wordpress. Even if you go with Wordpress.com you will be able to learn some of the basics if and when you are ever ready to move to the self hosted option (Which is the best option).

With self hosted you get much more freedom to create and share you message in a way that is unique to you. If you are planning on monetizing you blog self hosting is the way to go. If your not familiar with it, do your research and move slow with your customizations. It can be intimidating at first but will be so much better for you in the long run.

I have experienced many wonderful benefits achieved by having my own site and this has made an amazing difference for me in my life. There is a great value in building your own online presence and growing your audience. Having the complete control, ownership and freedom over your site is why I pick WordPress as my preferred content platform. Blogger is a nice and easy to use platform, but it just doesn’t cut it in terms of flexibility and customization. That is where WordPress excels. Over 60 million people have chosen it to power their sites and use it to create a wide range of beautiful and impressive sites. Majority of the biggest sites run on this platform. I run all my projects on WordPress.

Always wordpress. The steeper learning curve is definitely worth your time because if your blog gets big, you'll definitely want the extra options available with Wordpress.

Both are good but my opinion is blogger because we Chang every thing of template as how we need and on blogger have more visitors than word-press thanks

Wordpress any day of the week. I started out on Blogger but realised Wordpress is tonnes better. Like adding free plugins on wordpress there are 1000s of them. Also setting up pages on Wordpress is easier you can just copy a short code to a page.

If you ask me Wordpress is much more customizable and there are tons of choices (ie plugins, themes, etc). You can even upgrade your site to a much more complex website (membership, shopping carts) if you decide in the future.

But the decision always goes to what type of website are you aiming for. Don't get me wrong blogger is great for blogging purposes and by default works well with Search Engines - powered by the mother of all = Google.

I'd say start with hosted wordpress and migrate over to self hosted if things look like they'll work out. It sets you up to scale and transition your site easily

hey Woodley! .. I'm glad you are taking that wise decision!

I personally love blogging online and profiting from the revenue. From my experiences I always preferred WordPress over Blogger.

I tried Blogger first. And when I found WordPress, I just loved it. lol

Anyways ... you also gotta consider the hosting service you will need to pay for this. As your traffic grows, you gotta pay more for hosting and set up things to make sure your site loads fast when there are thousands of visitors coming every single day.

Just learn all of the necessary knowledge, and take massive action to get the results you are looking for!

    I hope this helps!

I wish you the best of the best!

    Keep up the great work!

    Cheers! :D

I too started with blogger, then moved over to Wordpress before ending up with a self hosted Wordpress. I've still got several blogger sites, but over all I prefer Wordpress.

But, blogger is good for a newbie blogs though. Its easy to setup and the lack of features makes it pretty easy to jump in and start writing.

Blogger is easier and cheaper but you don't know when you open your eyes every morning, your blog is there or not.then wordpress.org is the best choice.
