Blogger vs wordpress

For hosted solution, i definitely prefer blogspot. otherwise, i have self-hosted wordpress blogs and I love them. Can't go for wordpress hosted cox they don't allow ads.

 

Blogger is better for the newbies, wordpress for pros.

 

I disagree i think wordpress is getting easier and easier to use and starting to get more popular.

 

I found blogger easier

 

Wordpress, and that too self hosted wordpress not wordpress.com because then your features & control are limited!
plus wordpress is constantly updated with new features, security & bug fixes, i don't think blogger can do that. Oh and don't forget wordpress amazing community with tonnes of plugins, themes, etc. Wordpress wins by a large margin.

 

I would suggest Wordpress, since it has more features and a better feel than blogger.

If you have the time to manage and customize your site, go with wordpress. If you just want to write post and not worry about security updates, stat's tracking and other management task go with blogger.

 

Blogger is easier for customization, have opportunity for free hosting, lots of templates, huge tutorial blog, Google friendly etc...

Wordpress is definitely a better looking, more robust platform, so why would anyone choose Blogger? Because it is owned by Google, and if the only reason you are blogging is for search engine placement - try Blogger

 

Wordpress is better because of the features and large plugin community as someone said before its better to have self hosted one

 

I started bloging on Blogger. But after get in touch with Wordpress I never leaved! It's the best CMS available on Internet

 

any blog platform will get easier and easier if you used it on your blogs.

 

I believe wordpress has way more possibilities (read plugins ) You can customize it the way you want in no time.

 

wordpress is very hard to understand its not user friendly like blogger

 

I am using both, but I haven't customized my sites on wordpress yet,,, can you also help me how to do it for my blogs on wordpress too??? thankz...
