@nuper17 or infact anyone how do you add your own domain instead of using the bloggers domain ??? not sure how its done.
I personally believe wordpress has more functionality than a blogger blog. However, depending on your funds and such forth, blogger could be optimal as well. If I had to choose, it would be wordpress.
yes, wordpress is indeed more flexible than a blogger platform blog. But blogger is more user-friendly than wordpress, that's the reason why blogger is the most used platform today. I believe you can also achieve success through blogger a platform, just like in wordpress. The main concern though is you have to stick with their rules or else you get your blog cancelled unlike the selfhosted wordpress....
Wordpress is the better option for you. There is vast amount of Plugins and themes which you can used.

My first blog was with Blogger but I have long since moved to Wordpress. Wordpress can be overwhelming to a newbie, and this is because there are so many functionality available to you. There are many free themes to choose from which you can customize. There are numerous plugins and widgets to choose from as well. Wordpress nails it for me.
I love my blogger. because its really quickly index in google. It usually needs 3 minutes to index in google.
I'm assuming that you're talking about the free sites that you can get on those domains. Those are both good, however wordress I think is easier. But nowadays, it is much better to have your own domain and have wordpress installed on your domain and start bloggin that way. Its super cheap today to buy a domain and hosting is cheap too! SO go get your own domain and have your own blog that you can control and get traffic to.

If u r newbie and try to build ur first blog then go for blogger else wordpress is good for advanced users.
