I think for small time bloggers or bloggers who don't want extensive customization or plugins for controlling subscriptions should definitely go with Blogger. On the other hand, if you really want a professional blog which can integrate subscription handling, ad management (like BuySellAds) among other things...then Wordpress is the way to go!

Blogger is not for people wanting to run huge blogs. It's for just random stuff, like tutorials etc. If you're serious about your projects, choose Wordpress.

Wordpress is better, I suppose. Blogger needs a too long time contribution.

I think wordpress is going to be a nice one for the blogger. It has more number of features for the people use. That is the best way to use it according to our own wish. It also gives the different types of plugins while you are using it.

I used blogspot at first, but after one year i switched to wordpress and after 2 years of wordpress I do not regret the choice. Blogspot is just for begginers.

It depends of your skills, if you want an easy way to blog go for Blogger, all is already set up, you can customize your design if you know some html languages, you can easily move widgets, all is "automatic".
But Wordpress is better for me even if it is more complex to use, we are more liberty with Wordpress, munch more widgets than Blogger too and we can do all the things we want with our design! <3

I would agree with the others that Wordpress is a really good platform, and best of all its free, and you are able to customize it alot!

You should use wordpress, because you can get more features and themes in wordpress. wordpress is self optimized blog and it gives you authority to get pingings and other features.

YOu will be feel good with wordpress.

If you're a new blogger try use Blogger.com, after you enjoy it you can try to move to Wordpress for more technical customizations and SEO settings.

I guess both have there own advantages, Blooger lets you customize your own templates whiel WP has many postings options compared to Blogger. I have blogs on both and i enjoy blogging on both the platforms.
