Blogger Redirect, is it Google friendly?

So let's say my blog link was:
http://makemoneyonline.blogspot.com/

I built backlinks towards it, then I got a domain:
http://www.makemoneyonline.com/

Is the Blogger redirect seo friendly, letting me keep my search engine results, or not?

Also, does the amount of hyphens in an url effect your result at all? Like "make-money-online.com" in comparison to "makemoneyonline"?

you need to do a 301 redirect to your new domain in order to keep your rankings, now about dashes.. from my experience you will have a hard time ranking for anything with two dashes, always try to register a domain without dashes.

 

I know you need to, but isn't the blogger redirect automatic? Bringing back my question of, is Blogger Redirect google friendly.

 

If you don't have LiveHeaders installed with Firefox Developer Toolbar, then you
could find an online service that will check the headers for a 301 or 302 redirect.

Try "check headers" in Google and I think you will find some help.

Yes Blogger redirects are 301 and 100% seo friendly. Slowly all your blogspot URLs on Google will be replaced by the custom domain.
