Hey, Im just getting into this whole world.. and I enjoyed Blogger lots in the past, so I am looking to use that probably for awhile, its free and can get me started.

My first question is about traffic.. Is there a limit to the number of visitors you can get from a blog hosted on blogger before it goes down?

And in general, if you exceed your limit on a website, How much does that usually cost?

No limit if its hosted with Google. If you host it yourself it will depend on the company you are using and the plan you are on.

If you are getting that much traffic to your blog thats causing it to go down. You should be making some decent in which you should be able to get a dedicated server.

No limits. Google will take care, just follow their TOS.

Most companies have unlimited packages now so If you do run into problems you can also switch to your own domain. btw, that would be a nice problem to have :)

Google never says anything about limiting traffic. However, I read from Zen Habits that he started off with blogspot. When traffic grew, the blog crashed a few times. That is why Zen Habits is in paid hosting now

I dont think there is any traffic limit. However if you are serious in blogging get your own blog.
