Yes, I used Blogger Platform.. but I don't like Blogspot as much I like Wordpress Platform ... Wordpress is best for Search Engine Optimization. There are lots of WP SEO Plugins you can use for your Wordpress blog.

    Cheers,

Both have own Advantage. From seo point of view wordpress has more potential then blogger. I am using blogger because it's easy to use. It doesn't require so much html/css skills.

So true! If you have the time and patience to master WordPress - go for it, it's definitely worth it. WordPress has immense capabilities.

Wordpress is the best platform compared to blogger. You get an advantage of using user friendly plugins for wordpress, of course, even for SEO purpose.

Also, many affiliate networks and advertising companies have plug-ins specifically designed for WordPress, as opposed to almost none for Blogger. So if you're also looking to monetize your website (which everyone is!), WordPress is typically the best way to go.

    Best of luck to everyone!

As far as I know - blogspot offers free subdomain and for WP you need to reserve your own domain and then install your WP there. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Hey Paul,

That is correct. But domains can cost as low as $3, and it's definitely worth it for how much more access WordPress gives you than Blogspot.

    Best of luck to you!

Both are very useful in different terms and purposes. I suppose it is better to start up with a blogger blog as it is extremely easy to use and for customization too. Moreover no extra charges applied for blogger domain and for hosting. What I have felt is that blogger blogs are tough to monetize and poor for SEO purpose. No SEO plugin is there as per as my knowledge is concerned. As per example if you use All In One SEO plugin in wordpress you just need to fill a simple form to create dynamic meta tag. But in case of blogger you need to change codes and may need to put some extra lines of code in the template code. Like that. Another major difference is domain name. Normal blogger domain names contain blogspot.com as extension so it is better to use custom domain names in blogger even if the domian name is free like .co.cc or something like that. I hope this will help you.

Thanks a lot guys. I used blogger some years ago, and I knew that it's pretty simple in use. But it's really bad for seo. And blogspot subdomain doesn't look good at all.
But at least it's free))) Does WP require strong HTML knowledge? Cuz i'm real noob in that right now.

I wouldn't say it requires "strong" HTML knowledge, but it does require some. Most of the questions you might have about the HTML on Wordpress can normally be found pretty easily on Google.

    Best of luck to you!
