Blogger or Wordpress.com Which one is better?

I know these are the two top blog websites but which one is better? I currently have a blog on blogger.com.

 

I prefer Wordpress. However, the disadvantage of Wordpress.com blogs is that you cannot have any ads on your blog, while with blogger.com you can.

In my opinion the best option is self-hosted wordpress.org blog.

 

Wordpress hands down.
You have many more options and plugins available with wordpress.

if in the future you plan to monetize your blog I recommend you to use Blogspot, or self-hosted wordpress

 

I say you to use blogger as it is easily crawled by google because it is property of google

I started my journey with blogger.com and still now successfully running with huge traffic.

 

Blogspot is now having better alexa rank than wordpress. It means people are looking for blogspot than wordpress. It's better to go with blogspot now...

Blogger - you can make your own changes to templates easily, good for starters, not preferred by exp bloggers
Wordpress - Can't make changes easily, good for exp people, preferred by exp bloggers, has good number of plugins and resources available when compared to blogger

 

Let mix things up a bit. What about Posterous and Tumblr in comparison with Wordpress and Blogger?

Wordpress is great but you really need all the things that it comes with? Since you can host your whole website on wordpress, not only a blog. Wordpress is more like a CMS then just a blog.

 

Blogger is very simple to use, and wordpress is more advanced, with custom plugins and stuff.

 

Which one is better? It's all your personal reference really! They're both free - its all about which service you like the most, and anyone that says one is better than the other is just stating opinions.

 

Wordpress is much beter than blogger. I think blogger is for newbies and wordpress is for experienced campaigners

 

Wordpress! much better opts in and SEO system. You can pretty much manage the whole platform with little or no knowledge of html or css.

Wordpress gives you thousands of free themes and plugins for meeting your any designing need, this is really awesome.

 

my suggest,.. if you a newb, i suggest use blogger, or more advance use Wp with self hosted domain and hosting also,.. and yes it PHP on the body page
