Blogger not archiving

I need help. Please, I'm willing to pay.
My blogger blog http://www.seobrien.com is not archiving so the homepage results in a rediculously long page that takes forever to load. The blogger setting is set to archive after 30 days yet, as you can see, that's not the case.

Anyone have any idea what might be wrong or have an idea of how you can help me investigate and solve? My blog gets decent traffic so I'm trying to get this fixed ASAP!

    Thanks!!

I usually set my blogger settings to display a fixed number of posts rather than a number of days, so I'm not familiar with this issue. I see on your blog that the oldest post is January 23rd, which as of this morning, is not more than 30 days ago. However, if February 23rd comes and goes and the homepage doesn't change, even after you republish, my guess is that Blogger counts backwards 30 days from your most recent post. This is currently February 9th, which means that it might show posts as old as January 9th.

Checking the January archive page.. and there is a post from January 19th that does not appear on the home page. The post from January 23rd is on the home page, but not the one from the 19th. To me, that means it's working backward 30 days from today.

    Am I missing a detail?

I see 10 articles on the front page of your blog - is that what you mean? Doesn't seem that long to me. I think you've got some template issues - a lot of the contents of the widgets are overflowing and look a bit garish. Can you not fix this?

Thanks guys, you are both on the right track and understood my problem. The confusion stems from the fact that I did figure out how to change it to the 10 posts instead of 30 days by the time you saw it so it looked different than the problem I was frustrated with.

CountryBoy, no, I haven't figured out how to clean up the formatting either, next on my list. Any suggestions??
