How do you go about networking with other bloggers in your niche? Do you simply link to other bloggers in your post, hope that they notice the traffic you are sending them, and they link back? What are some other ways you can establish relationships with other bloggers to get links?
Well, Alex and I over at Blogussion like to start discussions with our community members than just feeding content to our blog. We chase up emails and try to help out as many people as we can We both are member so of several forums, including DP where we meet new and interesting people all the time. However, our most interaction with other bloggers occur within our site, where they leave a comment. Then we would usually follow them up and drop their blog too So it's a win-win situation for everyone
I will usually try to find their email address, or use a contact form to send them a message. If the blogger does not have a contact form, I'll try to find them on a forum and send them a private message there. A lot of bloggers (not all) will visit forums in the same nitch that they blog about, so its usually not to difficult to find where they are hanging out at. Some bloggers even have their own forums, so I might sign up on their forum and send them a Private Message.
Most blog can contact to the owner, if not then you can leave a post with your contact infor in their blog, saying that you want to exchange link with them.
Whenever I find some blogs that are on my niche, I am always trying to be there friend by commenting a lot and trying to expose my blog at the same time.
