I had a surprise when one of my new blogger blogs was marked as a spam blog. Damned and that was my favourite blog amongst the few I did recently and I put in so much effort to write my own comments. I have followed thru their process of requesting for them to unmark my blog. How long does it take to get back my blog without that page appearing talking about possible TOS violation ?
same case with my blog and until now cant resolved. still waiting again. it have been marked for more about a month.
I dont think you would get it back, ever. At least wordpress never gives it back. They wont even reply your queries. Thats why its better to stick with own hosted blogs.
Exactly, why do you host your blog on someone elses site. Host your own and thats one less company you need to worry about.
I mean writing my own thoughts as posts. oh well .... back to redoing another new blogger blog then LOL.
wow...,.... how do you know that you blog get mark as spam,... are you running on wordpress or blogger,.... really curious
Spam blog? Do you put nofollow tag to those affiliate links? Or are there too many spam comments with links? I think you can get a better chance by removing some links.
I do not have such issues. All blogs marked as spam were unmarked within 2 weeks. Yes I do have copied content but I also have my fair share of personal posts and insights. And I make it a point to place the source url with thanks note at the end of each copied content.
Up until now I don't hear anything on my blog who was accidentally marked as splogs by blogger. It's ridiculous that I'm blogging about blogger's tricks and tips in that blog with my own original content. So I don't know why they tagged BloggerGeeze.com as splog, they said after 20 days they could delete it, I have done necessary and hopefully they will not bring down the blog. You may take a look at it so you will see it's all original. I bet someone is copying my blog so blogger tag it as another spam blog.
My friend's blog also marked as spam on blogger. He said to me that his blog is deleted because of adding too many articles at the same time.
