Just add a normal widget and insert the code yourself (AdSense generated code from the AdSense control panel)...

    Right? That should work.

You may be trying to put more adsense banners per page than the allowed (3 per page) or your adsense account is disabled

Hi, Adding adsense from blogger is not a good idea. Just Sign into Adsense » Adsense Setup
You can also setup channels, and there are more advanced options.. Just go through it and copy the code and Sign into Blogger » Template » Add a Gadget » Html/ Javascript and paste the code and save the changes.

Are you using a template made by Blogspot or one found on the internet . Many of the templates on the web are not 100% compatible with Blogspot .

I'd agree with tendulkar2, use the HTML/Javascript feature on blogger to ad your adsense. It works great.

Sometimes back I was facing the very same problem. I instantly tried to log into my adsense account and found out that the Adsense was down. This usually happens on Saturdays when Google is often maintaining or upgrading or doing something nasty.

I get an error like this sometimes when I first put Adsense on a blog. A "404 error" shows up instead of the ads. After waiting a few hours, the error goes away and the ads start showing. This could be what you're experiencing.

it must be a mistake, Google owns both of them (blogger and adsense) they wouldn't block adsense

yeah i agree with opinion to try and put the adsense manually from google adsense, not from blogger. i personally have lots of blogs too and i put the adsense manually by html code generated by adsense..

I also got the error and the simple solution I tried was I logged out from the blogger account and then logged again and tried to add the widget or gadget I was trying to add and it worked, you can also try and see whether it works for you or not.

There are many reasons for this error , adsense down, some third part template not compatible with the blogger. One more way to avoid this error is to add the adsense code through the adsense account setup , copy the code and paste in the blogger Html/javascript ( wigdet /gadget)

    Regards
