I've tried pretty much everything. I tried to publish in a different folder, changed paths, archive names, etc etc etc. SO ANNOYING! I don't have time to learn how to export to wordpress right now, but I guess it's going on my "to do" list. Blah. Haha...Is it that hard to believe that I'm not the only lingerie site out there? Welcome to the forum, Lingerie Lady .
Summer, it used to be more complicated but actually version 2.02 makes it a breeze - nothing to learn really. Install WordPress 2.02. Go to your ACP. Click on the Import tab and select "Blogger". Follow the rest of the instructions - WP imports your posts and comments. You're done. Depending on your posts, you may have a little post-editing to do to fix some formatting here and there but that's pretty minor. And once you discover the Akismet anti-spam plugin and a few other essential plugins and see how easy THEY are to install, you'll be like me... middle-aged and male... no wait, I mean, impressed and wondering why you didn't convert sooner.
OKay, I downloaded wordpress. Then I opened the installation instructions and totally lost intrest... So, then I tried publishing my blog again and it published to 20%...I tried again and it published to 25%. WTF is up with Blogger?!!?!??
Summer, an hour (max) today to install WordPress and import your blogger posts will save you weeks of frustration. Just do it.
Fine, I finally moved to wordpress: http://www.lalalingerie.com/lingerieblog/ Yes, it was easy, but it's still a pain in the ass.
Yeah, Doing things and forcing ourself to ingest things that we aint used to is really pain in the ass, well all i can say now is at least it's an additional knowledge and good luck.
Well, maybe it was one of those blessings in disquise. Wordpress looks like it is better optimized then blogger. We shall see...
I know, I know. You're not the only one that has told me that wordpress is better, I just have 10,000 other things I should be doing other then trying to fix a stupid blog .
In view of the fact that you're (1) a lady and (2) the one with the gun, not necessarily in that order, I am inclined to agree with you.
