Blogger Error?

I am trying to edit the banner ad in my blogger template. '

I get this error:

Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
XML error message: The reference to entity "merchantID" must end with the ';' delimiter.

merchandID is in the text of the url, I cannot remove it its for tracking my ads.

Any tips?

 

Why you want to edit the template for putting the banner. you can put banner without editting the blogger template.

From layout, add a gadget and put a html gadget.
Is it possible?

 

I think there are something wrong with code,
why don't you convert the merchant code with this,
http://www.eblogtemplates.com/blogger-ad-code-converter/

If it still doesn't work, put an ";" at the end of the code,
or try it on merchantID...

Remember to backup your template

 

Maybe I can use tinyurl?

 

It is not the problem with the URL,
it is just how the blogger see your code...

 

I used tinyurl for the affiliate link, and it works now, thanks guys.
