Hello ppl, if any of u have experience with buying a custom domain with blogger.com, i'd appreciate if u answer the following questions for me. -Will it cost me anything else beside the 10 dollars they ask to buy the domain name?? Like a monthly fee for hosting or something. -Will my blog's homepage's url be switched to the new domain immediately after I paied? -if my blog doesnt get switched to the new domain immediately, will my current subdomain (site.blogspot.com) be fully functional for my visitors during my waiting period for the change to occur?? Sorry if these questions sound dumb or unclear, i am fairly new to the whole thing. Thank you for your time.

Like a monthly fee for hosting or something. for hosting, I think no. because blogspot is totally FREE I never buy domains from Google, so I don't know. maybe yes. -Will my blog's homepage's url be switched to the new domain immediately after I paied? for me (I buy domain from name.com not Google) I set my custom domains by changing the DNS and NameServer first. and then, maximum time of 48 hours to get your blogspot with custom domain.. -if my blog doesnt get switched to the new domain immediately, will my current subdomain (site.blogspot.com) be fully functional for my visitors during my waiting period for the change to occur?? beside on my experience, no. the blog will be "down" for a while hmm, I don't know if different people, different result. yeah, that answers is beside on my experience.. thanks.
