How do I get my ads to show up on my blog? I can't figure it out.

You add another field to the menu. And then you'll get choise: "What do you want in your menu?" And you scroll down and find adsense :).

Once you do it you will be able to add adsense to any other blog you have at blogger in a few minutes.

The best way is to just sign up for adsense, then copy/paste the code in your template.
