Are you meaning you want to edit the template that runs the front page?

I am not sure exactly what you are attempting to do but it sounds like you would be much happier using wordpress. Blogger is kind of a PITA if you try to make too many changes to their cookie cutter templates.

Log into the Blogger *DashBoard* (Blogger.com) then click on *New Post* then at the top click on the *Template* tab and there is the code...

Scroll down a ways and you'll find the spot where it says you can add code...

Hit *Preview* and it will show you the changes you made...

When you done made sure *Save Template Changes*, then click *Republish*
and you got your new changes... :D

Go to your blogger account and click change settings, than click template, and than add your links and edit content. My advice is to copy/paste content of your blog to the notepad in case you mess up something.
