Blogger.com newbie

    Hey there,

    well i recently made a blog using blogger.com ... and i got a name like www.xyz.blogger.com , as one usually gets...

    But i have a domain called iscoreball.com , so is there a way by which i can get my blog to tht domain i mean whenever some types iscoreball.com in there browser my log shd come up.. ??

    PS. : Actually i am thinkin of makin my website using a blog.. so for tht matter would blooger be nice or word press?

    I would go with Wordpress since you would have more control over your blog.

    wordpress is much faster, plus u will have full control on ur website n content. Go for wordpress. :)

    Wordpress for full control and not having to worry about plug being pulled. BTW it happens on occasion.

    Yes you can do that. You can go to the site where you bought your domain name and configure it so that your domain redirects to your blogger address.

    Like the others have said, Wordpress is a good blogging option and if your blog is new, I would suggest migrating it over to WP. I have a blogger account as well but I've been blogging for over 5 years and it's a pain in the ass to move that account to WP now. So make the move early.

    well i think i will go for WP..

    but i am still not clr abt the domain thing... i dont want a redirect thing cause itz bad...

    and one more thing.. like in blogger you just need to make an account and no hosting is required .. but i think in WP you need hosting right??

    Don't worry about the redirect thing since you don't need to redirect now.
    You are going to use WordPress right? If youare don't worry, forget about this.

    Yes, you will be needing a hosting account.

    Wordpress offers free blog hosting BTW

    edit : DAMN ! I think I like the free wordpress blogs a lot more than blogger.com !
