IIRC what happened was that they originally had their normal free service. Then they were going to roll out an upgraded service that included photo hosting etc for $. However they ended up giving away the enhanced functionality for free in the regular accounts.

well i will like to know where you heard this from. I dont think that google will do such a thing. Unless they are going to place ads on bloggs and you can pay to have a ad free blog.

Didn't blogger charge for account before Google bought them out?

Once Google took over everything became free. I can't see that changing - Google's model is to make their money from adsense adverts on the blogs.

Yeah they had the blogger premium account (Or blogger for business, something like that), but I couldn't tell you what benefits you got if you paid up...

I don't think they are going to charge now...

Blogger already had Adsense at blogs but i think that when they were bought by Google, the ads disappear, and the blog owner was able the join adsense and put there own code at the blog.

I would pay them if they started banning blog spammers' blogger accounts.

Huh i think he is just Joking. Frequently updated and written in a personal tone, a blog is a diary or journal where the writer or “blogger” will write her observations on the world or provide links to useful websites. If they do it, then i think blogger.com lost his customers.
