I've just gotten back off holiday and updated one of my blogs. I scrape my own blogger.com blog feeds to make includes on my sites using Magpie RSS - I've just published and now I'm hitting all sorts of errors and problems when it was just working fine an hour ago. I'm not technical when it comes to this stuff, but looking at the newly published feed, they've changed it all around - the new feed is here - if you look in firefox it doesn't make a page and the XML structure is different to this older Blogger feed of mine - http://lazybloggr.com/atom.xml In fact - one is version 1.0, the other (now broken feed) is version 2.0. Any ideas what's going on, I've done a cursory scan but can't find news or info relating to this - any help would be appreciated? Is it a case of waiting for Magpie RSS to get an update? Is there anyway I can reguritate the feed elsewhere - like via Feedburner, to get a format that Magpie can read again?
Ok - working around it, I'm getting the info I need via the Feedburner feed, but to be honest, that's not ideal.
I just niticed that Blogger is now publishing 2 XML files when I publish: an atom.xml file, and now RSS.xml file to boot. I have no idea when this started, but I just noticed the added XML today. Dio: did you try deleting your RSS files on your server, then republish everything?
Hmm - not happening for me - I use a custom name for the RSS - no atom.xml in my site. The Feedburner workaround will have to do for now. I've tried to republish - still the same and no extra atom.xml
