Blogger - Blogspot is down

I just saw this rumor:

"Unconfirmed rumor regarding today's Blogspots (Blogger) 8 Hour blackout: Today at 9:00 am, Muslim bloggers launched a denial of service on Googles blog service known as Blogger."

Curious isn't it?

 

Curiousity drove me to the blog and read it. I could have come up with a better rumor than that myself!

 

If that is the case and blogger is lacking that much security, then there is no more doubt in my mind that Google has just given up on blogger completely. Digg if you like: http://digg.com/technology/Blogger_is_getting_worse._Don_t_use_blogspot_

 

I also saw the blog*spot rumor at a different site though. This one has a better graphic to go with it, LOL.

Blogger is down again, this time usama b laden didn't do it. This time it was google attacking themselves. (planned maintenance.)

 

The State deparment wanted what? Yahoo and MSN are still up.

 

Hmmm, does Google even know that blogger still exists?
