I just had one of my blogs wiped out and delted completely and when I asked support about it they said because I hadn't logged in for 3 months so they deleted it because of "inactivity", has anyone else experianced this?

I heard this to be the case as well. Well, when you start a blog, the least you expect is some blogging or some sort of activity.

I just recently had mine locked because they claimed it hit a spam radar. My blog is nothing close to spam is updated a couple of times a week with fresh content. I contacted them, someone reviewed my blog and agreed that it was not spam and said it will be never locked again.

I think blogger has implemented a heavy crack down recently to reduce the number of worthless blogs that is just eating up space.

Just checked out 2 blogs I have, that I forgot about - one was deleted, which I've had since blogspot was born, and another one which wasn't touched.

    Update:

You should still be able to sign in with your userid and password. Blogspot will switch you over to the new format. Just did it with the blog that was deleted.

It could happen; and I believe it's in the TOS too.
I must admit that "3 months not logged in" is quite the case of inactivity ;)

Indeed weird that other blogs stay inactive for 4 months or so, and they don't get deleted. Maybe something to do with hits? No idea :)

    Hey

I just put up a blog with a static home page to sell a product

It almost looks like a normal site, even though I hope it will get regular visitors, there would be no need for me to modify the site regulalry,

Am I in danger of being kicked off without warning?
