What do you mean by duplicated content? The archive page is for blog visitors to know those blogs that are not in the front page and creates a better internal structure for SE to search your blogs.

Moreover, you could submit your blog to my directory http://blogannounce.info to gain more exposure. All submissions are free and reciprocal is optional.

Hahaha, you had to try to work that in there, huh?

    1) You have no idea what I'm talking about
    2) You have no idea what you're talking about
    3) How the hell does your blog directory have anything to do with my question?

    Oh yeah...

content from same site/blog is not considered as duplicate. And as far as recent most archieve and first page of blog is concerned, I am pretty sre google understand it. Your cache of index page will keep in getting updating in google but that archieve will remain same so the duplicacy that you are talking abot is not there permanently :)

    Good question!

This is one good reason why blog is a powerfull tool. SE's see blogs with a different eye. Every thing comes from a single database and arranged in blog in different manner.

    - The contents in homepage or index pages are treated as temporary pages. They are updated frequently and move towards "archive" section.

    - The archive section is used as displaying the information in a proper manner so that a visitor will find out the sequences of the posts.

It also shows the posts in different manner i.e. creating a monthly index of posts.

This is what i figureout most, but honestly I too have some questions ablout this. This can not ruleout the possibility of having a duplicate post 100% as both have different URL's :)
    means 2 different pages :D

I assume this can be treated as duplicate post too :(

Currently Google spiders each and every page. Most people rewrite permalink structure (WP Blogs) and that create another entry.. This is done unintetionally. I am now thinking to use a robot file that disallow Categories, Archives :(( and the pages i dont want SE's to be spidered as safe side..

This is very much scary, it creates duplicate entry for Archives as well as catagories too. Robots.txt is the only solution I can think presently.

    Phew!!
