Hey. I have got a blog using blogger, however I need to add AdSence onto it. I need instructions on how to do this, I think I know but I need to check.

Also I need to create an account with AdSence, I am only 16 can I still have an AdSence account?

    Thanks,
    BlueEew.

It's really easy to intergrate AdSense into your Blogger blog - just insert an AdSense widget and type in your pub-ID. Failing that insert an HTML/Javascript widget and paste your entire code in.

At 16 you are too young *officially* to have an AdSense account.

If my parents had an account, would I legally be allowed to place their code onto my blog and websites?

Yes, I don't see why not. It wouldn't be against the rules but it might seem odd to Google that you were using ads not associate with your own Google account.

I mean using my Google account, and adding an AdSence account to it which my parents will create their details.

If your parents signup and give concent it will be fine, as you can place ads on anyone elses site if they accept them.

Make sure you dont go clicking your own ads.

If your just starting a website I would recommend you do not put ads on the pages and keep it clean, it will make members happier. But if the site becomes larger then add them as members will still join a large site anyway :D

And last but not least! - Best of luck

You could do that. Technically, if you used your parents details for your own purposes, you'd be making a dishonest application. Practically Google will never know, so as long as you have an arrangement for getting the funds from your parents it'll be okay. Also note the potential problem if your parents decide to sign up by them self at a later date.

So it would be probably be best for me to get my parents permission, and ask them to make an Google account, and then an AdSence account.

Then on my Google account/blogger add their code, is that all legit and no illegal problems?

    Here's what you do:
The Google Account you use to sign into Blogger - you sign up to AdSense with that.
During AdSense sign up you provide the details of one of your parents, who you've asked previously. You'll also have to enter their bank account details if you choose payment by EFT.

Well yes, just select a check as payment option but you should really still have it made payable to one of your parents just to be on the safe side.

If the Google account is mine, and the AdSence account inside that Google account is my parents, is that 100% legal?

Google don't know who owns your Google account, agreed? So how could they possibly know that you'd used your parents details instead of your own?

As for legalities, it probably is a little dishonest but they'd never find out - not illegal in the criminal sense.

Well my parent is actually making the account, so that should be fine, shouldn't it?

Also when regsitering AdSence I have noticed that it requires an URL for your website, would it be okay to add the URL of my Blogger blog there?

Yes and yes. Fine on both accounts. Don't worry - like I said, they have no possible way of knowing that you are just 'borrowing' your parents details.

I would personally not bother trying to add your website to google asense program untill it has good content, a bit of it as you may not get accepted.

    I have one last question:

Can other web sites place your code onto them, without you beig affiliated with that web site. Like if a web site let you that is, or if you bought the space?
