Blogg OR Website???

I have registered a domain name www.reviewsland.com.

The idea is to share reviews on several products,services etc. NOW what do you guyz think

1) shoud i design a website for this domain OR blogg will be better option for this kindda thing (as now i just started ablogg on this domain)

2) Should i buy some content?(I mean should i buy some reviews from some one and put it on ) so that its up soon for a good revinew or should i write myself?

 

yes i think a website will be a good idea and you can pay people for reviewing thier any service this will create content

plus.....should i use a website template for this purpose? i mean in ur opinion should i use a template so that all reviews look same? as i m not very good at designing.
and should i pay for indvidual review? that will be too much for me ...is there anyway i can get many reviews as content

 

you can use any cms like joomla for that or if you havve a good budget you can get a custom one designed here only

I think the idea of the blog is good

 

what are your plans, do you want people to submit reviews, or do you want to review stuff yourself?

 

i haven't set my mind yet............wat would you recomend

 

IMO, a blog will be okie as it is easy to update and alot of plugins, support is available. Regarding the 2nd point, its totally up to you. If you can write the reviews and want to save money then write yourself and if you want to save time then hire someone to update the site on regular basis.

 

Keeping it as a blog would be the best option IMO.

I would say install WP and find a suitable theme and get writing.

 

WP is better and more professional, but I am using Blogger myself too (on custom domain though).

 

a blog...is a lot easier to take care of and update, and google likes blogs more

I think that if you did it as a combination of blog website.. this would be good. You would have people submit their review... but limit it to certain products or services... this makes it easier for categorizing and tagging... from their... you can do all the bookmark options, tag clouds, marketing and so on.
