    I'm setting up a blog for our company. For various reasons, I need to set it up on a different domain than our website.

    What we be the most effective way to link to it?

    Can I setup a re-direct from ourcurrentdomain.com/blog which goes to the new domain?

    Will the blog still be as effective as if it were actually installed in ourcurrentdomain.com/blog?

    nope. it will be redirect only. so google wont see the 'redirect' page.

    Is there a more effective way I can do this? (Aside from installing it in ourcurrentdomain.com/blog, of course)
