Yes, try the following: -Digg, Shoutwire, Mixx, Propeller, Noddit, Buzzfeed, Yahoo! Buzz, reddit and delicious. They work wonders for me. But do not use Digg and Shoutwire anymore because they always ban my account.
Any blog or website requires at least a quarter (three months) period to gain PR because google updates the toolbar PR once in a quarter. Wait for the next PR update. In the mean time, start building up quality, one way and niche related backlinks to get a boost in the PR...
Sometimes its not healthy for a site to join Social Bookmarks.. Advisable only to new urls that google not have yet indexed, and those site who wants to surface on a targeted keywords..
Most of the links are nofollowed, but there are still do follow links (not going to tell you where) ;-)
That's depend on the link whether is dofollow or nofollow. If the social bookmark provide dofollow link, then the answer is yes
PageRank update occurs every few months. The last update was on Dec 31 2008. You will have to wait probably one more month to see the next update.
It's a personal blog ! You don't blog about anything that would be searched for, it's all personal stuff, and you haven't updated since Feb 11. It's hard to get any PR without links and not too many people outside of family and friends will link to a blog about work, your dog, and your friends. What are you trying to rank for ? What keyword, or phrase are you targeting on a personal blog ? I looked at your most used words, meta info (you don't have any) and site description (there is none) and it doesn't have a focus. PR targets a niche, or focuses on a certain subject matter. You are ranked based on what you have to offer compared to what people are searching for (amongst other factors), and you don't have anything that people who don't know you are searching for...it's a personal blog. Nothing to rank for. JMO
