Hi I got a blogspot blog, for which http://*.blogspot.com/rss.xml?orderby=published works fine. But, Im using Feedburner MyBrand which is now free (after google acquisition). But DP > Edit options > Blog XML Feed URL doesnt seem to understand feedburner urls or rss using MyBrand. The last post's title doesnt show up in the posts. I dont get how it could possibly not work since its all in the same format - RSS. Any clue how to get this done ? Thanx
If you are referring to the blog in your sig, use this http://anjanesh.blogspot.com/atom.xml I am just using an example from your original post. Why you still have to use feedburner/MyBrand when you can directly add your blog feed by just adding atom.xml?
And why wont http://rss.anjanesh.net/anjanesh or http://feeds.feedburner.com/anjanesh work when its the same feed ?
Damn thing still doesnt work ! Am I the only one blind here ? How come Recent Blog: doesnt show up for me ?
atom.xml has been a problem for recent blog feeds at DP ever since Blogger went to the new version last year.
But my default is a RSS feed - not atom feed. anjanesh.net/anjanesh is actually anjanesh.blogspot.com/rss.xml?orderby=published Im also using new version of Blogger template though.
Finally got it working. I think the DP guys should be aware of the following : This is the only one that worked ! http://username.blogspot.com/rss.xml?redirect=false These dont work ! http://username.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default http://username.blogspot.com/rss.xml http://feeds.feedburner.com/username http://username.blogspot.com/rss.xml?redirect=false&orderby=published http://username.blogspot.com/rss.xml?orderby=published&redirect=false http://rss.username.net/username Used settings : Feedburner : Feedburner Feed using MyBrand Service Blogger : Forced redirect feed to Feedburner feed
Ridiculous ! I thought it was fine when I say my last blog post title next to Recent Blog:. But the damn link is not the blog-post link - but the current url which is at this forum !
I think it has something to do with using feedburner's script in your blog. As this redirects users to allow feedburner to handle the feed. I don't recall having his problem before then.
