    Hello,

I was thinking of starting a blog that has tutorials for Microsoft products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Are there any copyright infringments, trademark infringements, or legal issues that may arise if I have tutorial movies describing how to perform tasks on Microsoft products?

For example, if I make a movie describing how to add an email account on Outlook.

    Thanks,
    Jack

I don't think there would be, otherwise we wouldn't be able to take a screenshot or make tutorials in Photoshop. :)

I think Microsoft would actually put their thumbs up you doing that, considering it is promoting the ease of use of their products. :)

As long as the tutorials are authentic you should be fine.

    Hello,

Thanks for the replies. If I make screenshot tutorials of Linux commands on my blog from the SSH prompt, will I need to obtain permission from the creator of Linux first?
