I am thinking about blogging and I face a small problem. I have many scenarios how I could implement my blogs (yeh, many blogs for different websites). 1. Showing the blog on the first page. The first page is regularly updated and it is the first thing that people see when they arrive on my website. The disadvantage is that I would have to place the main presentation of the website's products/services on other pages. 2. mydomain.com/blog. It says it! That way, I can keep the main page free for product sales. The blog section is adequate and it does not interfere with other sections of the website. For my personal website, the blog is on the first page. It makes more sense to me since it is personal news and it goes with purpose of the website. For my other business websites, I would like to keep the blog separated (many with news section) on the page), but I would like to take advantage of the first page being updated with new stuff. I am wondering about the visitor's point of view, SEO, etc. What is your opinion on that? Pros and Cons? Have you had the chance to test different models?
