    What type of blog would a blog that includes topics on general views of the web, webmaster tips, website/product reviews and basic marketing tips be? A web development blog?

    Sounds more like a internet marketing blog, with a focus on management, promotion, revenue, and SEO.
    Development blogs are more focused on coding and graphic design, not the daily running of the site.
