    Yes, they can. Matter of fact, sometimes blogs get ranked better in search engine because of how frequently they get updated. For instance, when you type in "make money online" into Google, the first search result is to a blog.

    Why not? MY blog ranks the third in Google for the popular keyword "Adsense Secret".

    Yeah, there is no glass ceiling for a blog. Often times you even make more money if the blog does have good rankings on a search engine because you will have your existing subscribers that provide you with traffic and an opportunity to get PPC earnings, or affiliate earnings, etc.

    Squidoo pages as well can rank up in the best of results. It's really irrelevant what type of website you have as long as it has the backlinking, content and traffic that Google sees fit to bestow a top ranking.

    It's actually not that hard to get a top ranking in Google for your blog, it all depends on the competition and if you have the "right" keywords.

    By the way, I am using Micro Niche Finder to find very popular keywords (with a lot of searches) with little competition. I really recommend it.

    My new blog, I haven't launched it yet because I am waiting for the customized template to be ready, is ranking number 1 at Google. And this is for a keyphrase that has more than 32,000 searches a month, and I haven't written anything on my blog yet, I just installed wordpress and put the keywords in there.
