Blog Traffic Static since last 6 months !

I started out right, building backlinks and adding content, but in the 3rd month, when I was getting 50 visitors a day, my blog suddenly disappeared from Google and then for a week, there was no traffic at all. Next week, god knows what happened, the traffic increased to 180-200 visitors a day!...

Since then, I've added more than 800 posts on my blog, but the traffic has been static every since. After 10 months, now I'm getting only 300 visitors a day. So that's only an increase of 100 visitors a day since the last 6 months ! What could be going wrong ? Where's the 10% increase in traffic every month that everyone talks about !!

By the way, the blog is the 1st one you see in my signature "Mobile Reviews | Laptop Reviews......."

You're doing a great job with fresh content but you need to work on some offsite SEO as well. Build some backlinks!

Ya but people have to find it first. You need to do offsite SEO such as link building. Just publishing content will get you no where very slowly.

    hahaha, funny, but rightly said.
OP : increasing the amount of posts does not really value your blog traffic or status. You have to do some proper optimization for your site, have a plan which you can implement it to get more and more traffic. If you would have done bookmarking right from the beginning you would have easily got that 10% of increase in traffic every month, by now. I myself am an example of the strong and unqiue traffic you get ONLY after rigorous hard work in networking sites. Well SEO is also an important part for getting traffic and I am sure you must have done it but it seems you have to do it more efficiently as whatever you have done is not fetching you anything right now. BTW the instant increase in traffic which you mentioned in your thread, did you try to find out how and from where you got that ?

By far you are good with your on page techniques (and fresh content)... but you need to word more aggressively for off page optimization.

Social Media optimization can help you in getting good traffic.
    Social bookmarking
Participate in related Blogs and Forums
    Feed subscription
    Blog Submission etc.
    Link Baiting
