Hello, everybody. I had some adult blogs, but they are kinda on their own now, because I don't feel good doing adult anymore. So I am starting mainstream blogs right now and I now Wordpress is SEO friendly right? What do I actually need to boost my traffic. Then, when is it ok to put some ads like adsense or etology, because I someone told me it is better to wait 2-3 months and have only pure content and could I actually expect some money in 3 months? Also, I don't quite understand, when you sign in a rss sites, where do you put all these reciprocal links? Aren't they too much to put them all on your site? We had something like that on adult blogs, but I thought others should be more.. smooth. Thanks for helping the newbe
First of all, Welcome to Mainstream blogging. Follow these steps: 1. Choose a good niche. 2. Get a good domain name, which is short and easy to remember 3. Choose a good hosting provider, I prefer DreamHost. 4. Use Wordpress as CMS. It is The Best of all. 5. Post quality content at a rate of at least 2 posts per day for 3 months. Dont worry about placing ads soon. 6. Submit your blog to RSS and Blog directories. 7. Build a decent amount of traffic by doing SEO 8. Use keywords intelligently. Just dont stuff them into the pages. 9. Use multiple ad servers. Dont rely only on Google Adsense(eventhough its quite good) 10. Go for press releases, blog reviews and request other bloggers to write about your blog. Send them your written article with well placed links. 11. Comment on the blogs related to ur chosen niche and let them know that u r genuinely interested in their articles. Hmm, these are in my opinion some of the best tips to follow to get a good amount of traffic in a short time. Others, please feel free to add some more.
Syndicate your feed. You can also post your blog posts to article sites for better distribution. Try guest posting as well.
Traffic - Write a controversial article and submit to digg. People are all for controversy. When okay to put ads - As soon as you get accepted to the network but you won't get to earn until you have traffic RSS - Can't say alot as I'm on the same boat as you are. Let's wait for some info from our friends here.
You can create a page on the blog for "related links" where you put the reciprocal links. No need to put them all over the blog.
there are also some google tools allowing you to get more traffic on your blog, I just did it some hours ago and now I’ve some more views on my blog which is awesome. I click in about google and I got it. I guess there are many services that I don’t even know
