Provide / Post 1-2 original content in your own words.
Allow reprint rights for pointing back to your site.
Write short, full of tips articles to ezinearticles, articlesbase etc...

Doing this would give you a very good start

well i guest all the comment above was correct...with unique content then you do some marketing to yr blog by blog walking dont forget to post sm comment and also joining forum i think that will increase ur traffic...good luck

there is far more to it than that, so many people have blogs these day original content IS A MUST, but its not the be all and end all. SEO is needed now to even be remotley close to getting good traffic figures.

htaccess rules for speed

pretty permalinks

correctly configured robots meta tags

nofollow tag links and outgoing links ect.

all of these things are a MUST these days if you want visitors.

including all of the above.
