Ive seen/heard of this plug-in also. But the feedback I got from other people is that is does not work for established blogs...only new ones.
I just disabled it on my blog because i actually got negative traffic flow. Supposedly paid version works better but $20 a month might be excessive for it.
The easiest way to get traffic, is to trade traffic with similar sites like yours. Check this site EndlessTrade widget

Signup and submit your site in the appropriate category. Since the site is brand new there aren't a lot of sites for you to trade with right now. In time, people will see your site and start contacting you to trade traffic with them. When that happens, you can place the widget on your site and trade traffic. There is an explanatory link "How this site works" with more details.
