Just thought I would share this with my fellow DPers... Look out for Solidstate I recently started a blog, my very first so go easy on me! (http://www.mcbonio.com) Now i posted a frebie on here, and solidstate thanked me in the thread, while viewing my awstats i found a blog: http://blog.tanbir.info/ (solidstates blog) Have a look at his first 3 pages of articles, look familiar?
It's possible that the blog could be running an autofeed, meaning that it looks at your RSS and will post the articles that you post (perhaps in the same order or even in a different order)
he has put Don’t copy this article. on each article he has stolen from me, yet no other article he "wrote" has that on, and when i discovered his theft today im almost certain it didnt have the dont copy message on! They seemed to appear after I contacted him asking for them to be removed
Unfortunately, it's just the nature of the game. People will always try to imitate what they think is good. It could be a feed, but probably not. Just tell him to backlink your shit, or else pay the consequences.
i just put my blog feed on summary and his site looks exactly the same, he has in fact stole all my work
Just a scraper site. Build relevant links to your own site and it won't be a problem. Get his host to shut him down if it upsets you so much
i have contacted his host its not the fact it upsets me so to speak, i know blog theft happens, but i have only been doing it for 4 days and he stole every post! edit: And its not a scraper, I changed some things, his blog remained the same
if he using feed's .... then create him a custom article , or try to add some note in the middle of the article or adding some link back
He actually stole the articles, and admitted it to me. He said "Whats the big deal about copying your blog posts. its all over the net" Even though all my pieces are unique and written by myself lol He removed them all now, so good news
