I am not sure if this is against the rules. But who would want to have links from a blog spammer? Talking about http://www.nokia-ringtone-logo.com/ to see proof for yourself just link:http://www.nokia-ringtone-logo.com/ on google.. notice every link is from a blog, goto the blog and look its pure spam. Not sure about everyone else, but would you want to link or get links to this site?
How can you prove that the owners of the site were the ones doing the spamming? Having links from blog spam isn't proof that they were doing spamming. I'm not saying this case is a Joe Job but you can't prove who put the links there.
Very true, in some cases, I have seen competitors doing blog/guestbook spam. I feel that is why, one way links never hurt. RIGHT ?
You can check the blacklists. http://www.jayallen.org/comment_spam/blacklist.txt http://www.goldblogger.com/blacklist.txt
Well, whoever's doing it, it IS blog spamming. One of the blogs that links to that site has a ton of spam in it's comments, don't think I've ever seen so many rubbish comments - here
Agreed ... but I don't see any easy solution .. simply because anyone can just blog spam your website to get you kicked out.
The owner of this site frequents seochat.com, if you look there you will find him. I know this because I joined the same aff program he uses after he was bragging of making 1000 euros a month.. seems this is how you do it! Btw. Don't even think of getting into ringtones.. it's a bloody nightmare.
Folks, there is a solution. I recently switched from Blogger to Word Press and utilized a feature in there that requires you to approve a message before it can be posted. You can also obviously delete it. Believe me, it has cut down all the blog spam on one of my sites to nothing. HTH
