is out of control and only getting worse.
Every blog I enter seems to have these @$$h0le$ http://whois.sc/99ring.com leaving 20 links without a comment. They are already blacklisted but since they are in China they seem to be untouchable. Is there anything that can be done against them?

In movable type, mtblacklist is effective. With wordpress, you just input the url to tag it for instant moderation. Most of these people will just stop showing up if they notice the links aren't being posted.

As far as stopping the problem at the source, I don't know. Certainly getting them banned in Google, Yahoo, and MSN would do the trick, but they'd just get another domain.

Forgot all about my old thread when starting a new one about onlinewebmarketing.info spam attacking my Opera blog. http://my.opera.com/SiteTutor/journal/1#usercomments
it seems that more and more companies resort to that these days, they are becoming aware of link popularity and go overboard. I can see an international policing agency in the future, some of those IP addresses should be banned and the owners prohibited from using the internet/
